Getting started
Two minutes from login to your first bite. The shark does the rest. Or does not.
1. Sign in with your wallet
Your wallet is your login. Pick it on the sign-in page and sign one message. It is a signature, not a transaction: no gas, no funds move. No email, no password.
No wallet yet? Choose Coinbase Smart Wallet and create one with a passkey. No extension, no seed phrase to write down. More on Wallet.
2. Onboarding
Three quick choices, then you are in.

| Handle | Your shark's name | 3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores. First come, first served. |
| Referrer | Who sent you, optional | Their referral code or @handle. You cannot refer yourself. See Referral. |
| Starter fin | Your first cosmetic | Classic Fin, Neon Fin or Scarred Fin. Free, purely cosmetic. |
Pick the fin that matches your ego. It changes nothing else.
3. First run
- Open Play. Claim the daily check-in while you are there: 25 Teeth and 50 XP, once per day.
- Start with Snap. It is the shortest game and it trains the timing you need for Bite and Croak.
- Try the other three solo games. Each run is replayed on the server before it pays out. See how scores are checked.
- When your thumbs stop shaking, go to Arena and queue for a Free room. No entry, XP only, bots allowed if the queue is slow.
- Once you like your odds, try a Teeth room. Read the economy first. Everyone thinks they are the shark.
A quick human check
Starting a session runs a short anti-bot check. If it fails, reload and try again. Bots are welcome only when we label them as bots.
