XP

Permanent, never spent. Earned in solo games, in the tank, from check-ins and referrals. XP sets your level and the all-time ranking.

Teeth

Spendable. Earned in solo games (capped at 500 per day), daily check-in (25), referrals (100) and tank wins. Every change is an entry in an append-only ledger. Teeth is an off-chain platform currency with no guaranteed monetary value.

Solo games

The server hands you a seed. You play, your inputs are recorded per tick. The server replays the run with the same simulation and only pays out if the replayed score matches yours. Sessions expire, and a session can only be finished once.

The Tank

8 sharks, 3 hit points each. The net shrinks every 15 seconds and deals one damage per second outside it. Bite beats movement, Croak beats Bite, Dash punishes a wasted Croak. Last shark alive wins. After 120 seconds: most hit points, then closest to the centre, then most damage dealt.

Teeth rooms

Entry is taken when you queue and refunded if you leave before the room locks. The pot is the sum of entries. 10% is burned, the winner receives the rest. Kills only give XP, never Teeth. Free rooms give XP only and can be filled with bots.

Referral

Enter a referral code or @handle during onboarding. Both sides get the bonus once the new shark has one validated solo run and one tank match. No self-referrals.

Wallet

Your wallet is your login. Signing in is one signature, never a transaction, and costs no gas. No wallet yet? Create a Coinbase Smart Wallet with a passkey from the sign-in page. One account per wallet. The same wallet is used later for USDC rooms and the mint.

Coming to Base

USDC rooms move the pot into an escrow contract. A resolver key signs the result, the contract pays the winner and sends the rake to the treasury. If a locked room is never settled, anyone can trigger a full refund after the timeout. The resolver is a centralised point of trust and is documented as such. USDC rooms open region by region once they launch.
